Everything is prepared on the premises including cakes, dressings and relishes. The constantly changing menu reflects both the seasons and freshly available produce. Whilst the wine list has a good selection from the region. And, as you would expect from a café focussed on quality, the coffee is first rate.

This is a café focussed on providing personalised service for its customers - reflected in the cheerful staff, the warm greeting, full table service, and help with a coat, door or a taxi. Chef and owner, Ben Veldhuis, has a flexible menu which accommodates various types of functions. This young team’s passionate commitment to quality has recently been recognised with the 2006 CGU/Commerce Ballarat Business Excellence Award (Accommodation, Restaurant and Hospitality).
