Events Celebrating Ballarat Wine and Food

Start planning now for early 2008, with a number of events showcasing food and wine from the Ballarat region.

Friday 29 February 2008

World’s Longest Lunch

Set against the Victorian architecture of Ballarat’s main street, and in the shade of some grand old trees, this lunch will turn heads and stop traffic. Ballarat’s most exciting chefs have combined to present yet another memorable feast.

To further reflect the emphasis on local produce, each dish will be matched with wines from the Ballarat region – quietly emerging as a source of superb Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Sit back in comfort, relax, and watch the world go past!

Cost: $90 per person.
