About BDVA

Welcome to the website for Ballarat and  District Vigneron's Association.
Just 113kms west of Melbourne and only a mere hour and 15 minutes away from the CBD is the Ballarat Wine and Food Region.
The Region takes in the areas of Buninyong, Scotsburn, Invermay, Blampied, Smythesdale, Coghills Creek and Clunes making the region an easy wine-buying self-drive. Visitors can discover boutique vineyards; meet passionate winemakers eager to share their latest drops and discuss how they are crafted or enjoy a lazy weekend lunch at some of the cellar doors. The Region hosts a number of events throughout the year including Ballarat By The Glass held during the month of November.

The Ballarat and District Vignerons Association exists to support the diverse needs of its members. These areas include: viticulture, winemaking, appreciation of wine and food, developing and promoting the marketing of Ballarat wine and wine tourism.
